TwinFrame Recorder Terms of Use

Effective date: April 3, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of TwinFrame Recorder (the "App"), provided by CDT America LLC ("CDT America LLC," "we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy.

1. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, CDT America LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TwinFrame Recorder on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in each case as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. Intended Use

TwinFrame Recorder is intended to help users capture more than one framing output during a recording workflow. Features, recording modes, export behavior, and device compatibility may vary based on hardware, iOS version, and future App updates.

3. Your Content

You are responsible for the footage, audio, and other content you create, record, save, export, or share using the App. TwinFrame Recorder is designed to operate locally on your device, and CDT America LLC does not claim ownership over the recordings you create.

You are also responsible for making sure that your recording activity complies with applicable law, including:

  • privacy and consent requirements,
  • intellectual property rights, and
  • rules that apply when recording other people, places, or events.

4. Local Storage Model

TwinFrame Recorder is designed so that recordings stay on the user's device unless the user separately chooses to save, back up, export, or share them through Apple services or other third-party tools. CDT America LLC is not responsible for storage, sync, backup, deletion, or transfer actions that occur outside the App.

5. Restrictions

You agree that you will not:

  • copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law,
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where prohibited by law,
  • use the App in a way that violates law or infringes the rights of others,
  • use the App to transmit malware or interfere with the App's normal operation, or
  • resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App without our written permission.

6. Purchases and App Store Terms

The App may be distributed through the Apple App Store. Payments, refunds, billing issues, and related transaction terms may also be subject to Apple's rules and policies. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support services for the App except as required by applicable law.

7. Updates and Availability

We may release updates, bug fixes, improvements, or feature changes at any time. We may also suspend or discontinue all or part of the App, with or without notice. Some features may stop working if your device, iOS version, or hardware no longer supports them.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. CDT America LLC does not guarantee that the App will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or workflow. You are responsible for backing up any recordings or exports that matter to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CDT America LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, recordings, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the App.

10. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will automatically terminate if you fail to comply with them. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete it from your devices.

11. Apple Notice

These Terms are an agreement between you and CDT America LLC, not with Apple. To the extent required by Apple's applicable terms, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
